Leading M&E Building Services Contractor handling projects to £5M from its Bristol office seeks to recruit an experienced HVAC Estimator to further strengthen its commercial & estimating function. Working closely with the M&E Estimating Manager, electrical estimators & the design team, you will play a lead role handling all Mechanical aspects of tenders from receipt of enquiry through to submission and project team handover. Duties within the position will include: costing mechanical installations to comply with the design brief, specification and drawings; obtaining quotations from subcontractors & suppliers; negotiation of costs with subcontractors & suppliers; assisting in preparing the bid return documentation & in negotiating the order; liaising with all site personal and client representatives to ensure a smooth running project; use of computerised estimating software, mentoring & developing of junior estimators.
