This Main Contracting Construction organisation focuses on Education, Commercial buildings and Public Sector Frameworks.
This company are now seeking a Building Services Manager to work on Regional Projects from their Bristol based office.
Purpose:
• The provision of technical advice and assistance on services issues on a specific project, typically from winning the tender through to completion.
• On major projects this may be as part of a project management team; possibly having responsibility for one or more Project Building Services Managers. Alternatively responsible for a number of smaller projects with Project Building Service Managers in residence.
Key Accountabilities and Deliverables:
• Assist in the implementation of the agreed management strategy on the project.
• Ensure the project team is working to the Contract Documents.
• Assess services design risk and manage its mitigation.
• Ensure O&M Manuals are being progressed for commissioning and record drawings are available for handover.
• Ensure the building Services can be properly commissioned to program and sufficient time is available for testinginspection, client training for handover.
• Maintain close relationships with the customer and design organisations.
The right person for this position could be from either a Main or M&E Enginering Contractor - With either Mechanical or Electrical Bias.
