We are a recruitment agency and we are currently looking for an industry experienced Systems Safety Engineer for our client in Bristol.
The Systems Safety Engineer
Our client is a progressive and rapidly expanding part of the group of business.
They provide high end technical and project management services to the prime aerospace companies.
They are involved in some of the most challenging and exciting aerospace projects in the world
The position of Systems Safety Engineer is ideally suited to high calibre engineering graduates with appropriate and sufficient post graduate experience in functional safety.
You will be given the opportunity to provide high quality technical input to our aerospace projects.

You will be Degree qualified in any Engineering discipline, with sufficient and appropriate professional experience in the product design/support engineering environment.You will have experience in the following:
Systems Safety Engineering processes and related analysis/modelling techniques
Safety/reliability requirements setting/allocation to systems, subsystem and/or equipment
Product design verification against safety/reliability requirements
Safety assessment/analysis reporting
You will be expected to demonstrate the following attributes:
Professional in approach and performance
Strong communication (presentation) skills, able to formulate strong arguments to influence design changes.
Highly motivated, able to thrive in a dynamic and challenging design environment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team, supporting colleagues when appropriate.
Ideally you will have:
Previous aerospace experience, covering fuel, braking or landing gear systems.
Practical knowledge of Aerospace Recommended Practice ARP4761
Full Chartership through the IMechE or equivalent
Commercial awareness
