This is a senior operations role covering the South west region, duties of which will include: Client & SPV Liaison - arrange and attend meetings as necessary - OBJECTIVE: To build and maintain positive partnership with School, LEA, SPV and internal clients 2. Contract Management - manage compliance to contract standards and develop best practice quality solutions to enhance business efficiency, both hard and soft disciplines - OBJECTIVE: To meet all contractual milestones (inc PPM) minimal service deductions, regular consultation with network (internal and external) to discuss best practise 3. Commercial Management - manage the NoC process together with all other aspects of the contract management i.e. risk management, KPI's, subcontactor procurement inc SLA's - OBJECTIVE: NoC are priced accurately, and submitted within agreed timescales and subsequent works to be carried out in a timely manner; clear understanding of obligations of paymech & output spec requirements 3. Personnel - recruit project team staff; take direct responsibility for their development, welfare and employee relations issues in line with IPSL policies and procedures - OBJECTIVE: To have a competent and motivated team; regular performance reviews in conjunction with annual appraisals; reduced sickness levels; secession and development plans in place. 4. Finance - efficiently and effectively manage the operational budget to meet the contract requirements and within agreed margins - OBJECTIVE: To meet agreed margin, 5. H&S - named responsibility for employees, subcontractors and for compliance with Educational environment, hygiene and control procedures - OBJECTIVE: IFR to be less than agreed target;ensure all incidents to be reported and investigated appropriately; 6. Quality& business systems - ensure systems and procedures are adhered to in line with IPSL policies and procedures and work with IPSL staff to develop as necessary - OBJECTIVE: To obtain and maintain registration to BM Trada triple standard; have relevant local operating procedures that are embedded with all team members; joint contingency plans in place. 7. Business Development - OBJECTIVE: Sources of additional income / cost savings investigated and implemented where possible i.e. selling caretaking services, energy initiatives, third party activities. to be viewed as a valued member of the project and local community 8. Undertake project development work as agreed with the FM Director 9. Undertake any other such duties as may be reasonably requested within the purview of the role |
