We are seeking experienced project managers with a good mechanical/aeronautical engineering background to help deliver our engineering projects.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of fixed price aero structures engineering packages to agreed time, quality and financial performance parameters.
Our projects range in size - from small investigative studies, through to multi-million pound programmes.
Our larger projects typically have a significant sub-contract element, and hence you will be responsible for managing the contribution of supply chain organisations.
Candidates will ideally be degree qualified (or possess suitable experience in lieu of qualification), and have experience of managing engineering projects to time, quality and cost objectives.
Aerospace industry experience is desirable, but not mandatory.
Experience of supply chain management would be particularly beneficial.Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
Effective client management and communication skills.
Project team leadership.
Commercial awareness and strong financial management skills.
Technical awareness in the field of aero structures
Adaptability
Innovative thinking.
You will need to show a willingness to work outside normal office hours on occasions and flexibility for working from the office, home, and clients' premises.
