A Programme Manager is required to work within a multi-disciplined team for a successful 2nd tier automotive manufacturer. The successful candidate would be involved with a variety of Automotive engineering projects specifically focussing on chassis and engine mount.
Salary & Location: £Excellent + Pension. South West, Wiltshire, Swindon, Bristol, Gloucestershire.
The Role:
The candidate will be responsible for managing projects, timescales and budgets across different automotive programmes. They will be leading a multi functional team of engineers on the different programmes to hit customer goals and deadlines.
The role will involve lots of customer liaison, planning using Microsoft Project and problem solving.
Two of their major customers are German based car manufacturers, and therefore a German speaking ability would be highly desirable - facilitating communication and building customer/client relations.
The role will involve a small amount of UK and European travel.
The Candidate:
" Understanding of APQP
" Programme Management experience - min 3yrs
" Ability to use programme management tools - Microsoft Project or similar
" Experience of Automotive or Aerospace industry
" Technical or Business Degree
