The Role: Within the remit of the role you will be responsible for the analysis of production processes and the subsequent generation of ideas to successfully reduce scrap and otherwise save time/ money. You will be look at the production process from design through to completion. You will develop these cost saving and optimisation ideas to the stage where they can be implemented by people in the manufacturing team. You will also act as the technical support for a team of ten other process engineers on site.

The Company: This company employ over 40,000 people across 20 sites throughout Europe and are involved in the design and manufacture of precision components for the aerospace, automotive and petrochemical industries. They are introducing a lot of new products at the moment and are looking for a good Production Engineer to maximise the success of the growth that they are experiencing. This role would suit those ambitious for career progression. Initially a relatively autonomous role there are realistic opportunities to move into management within two years.
