The position of Aerostructures Principal Engineer is a senior post, reporting directly to the Aerospace Chief Stress Engineer.

The role is ideally suited to aerospace industry specialists who have extensive and appropriate experience of aircraft stress analysis.
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a desire to be challenged and to contribute towards the success and growth of the business.

You will be Degree qualified in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, or possess suitable experience in lieu of qualification.
You will have extensive and appropriate professional experience of aircraft structural/stress analysis.
You will be fully conversant with industry analysis methods, standards and practices as well as the latest analysis tools and applications.
You will have experience in one or more of the following:
Finite Element modelling
Fatigue and Damage Tolerance
Composite Materials
You will be expected to demonstrate the following attributes:
Strong track record in technical leadership and innovation
Proactive attitude
Strong communication skills
Commercial awareness
Strong team building skills

Ideally you will :
Hold, or have held, delegated signatory status.
Have extensive experience of stressing composite structures.
