We are a recruitment agency and we are currently looking for an industry experienced Human Factors Engineer for our client based in Bristol. Please visit our website colbernlimited co uk for more opportunities.

To undertake a full range of Human Factors engineering activities within the HF Skill area, supplying specialist advice and support across the department and projects as appropriate.

Essential
Planning , controlling and delivering assigned HF projects or work packages
Preparation of a full range of HF solutions, develop designs in line with requirements and all quality and technical standards
Evaluating HF technical issues in order to develop proposals for investigations and/or solutions
Making HF engineering decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority
Identification of HF related issues/opportunities in order to challenge, and update the system design solution for the benefit of the end user

Successful and timely delivery of objectives
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
The ability to think and develop HF solutions to complex technical problems.
Provision of timely HF support to projects
Broadening HF Skills by formal training and on the job training
Positive (enthusiastic and energetic) approach to new tasks
Delivery of new business.
Challenge established thinking.
Able to work on own initiative.

Skills & Knowledge
An appropriate Engineering Degree, or equivalent, in psychology, with further qualifications in Human Factors or Ergonomics.
Ability to conduct, and support work packages in one or more of the key disciplines of Human Factors Integration; Human Factors Engineering; Human Performance; HF experimental research.
Good understanding of all aspects of Human Factors principles, techniques, and technologies
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary / multi-national team.

The solving of challenging HF Problems often using innovative solutions.
Delivery of objectives to time and budget
Delivery of consistent high quality output

Successful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
