We are a recruitment agency and we are currently looking for an experienced Design Engineer for our client based in Derby. This is one of many aerospace industry roles we have both contract and permanent, please forward a copy of your CV or visit our website.
The position of design engineer is ideally suited to mechanical/aeronautical engineers suitable and appropriate mechanical engineering design experience preferably obtained within an aerospace environment.
Working across a number of design competencies, including gas turbines, aerostructures and tooling, your workload will range from producing and researching concepts through to detail design and their subsequent manufacture.
Working from our offices and our clients' sites on challenging projects you will additionally be involved in the design and analysis of component parts, contributing to prototype manufacture and validation reporting.
You will need to demonstrate a range of problem solving techniques and be capable of managing yourself and others to deliver these technical requirements within project lead-times.

Degree qualified in mechanical or aeronautical engineering or with suitable experience in lieu of a degree, you will have suitable and appropriate mechanical engineering design experience in an environment relevant to the aerospace sector.
