Aerospace Lead Engineer
Bristol, Avon, South West
Salary guideline range £32,000- 45,000

We are a recruitment agency and we are currently looking for an experienced Aerospace Lead Engineerfor our Bristol based client. This is one of many aerospace permanent and contract roles we have please forward your cv for consideration for this and other roles we have.

The successful Aerospace Lead Engineer

Our client is a progressive and rapidly expanding part of the group of business.

They provide high end technical and project management services to the prime aerospace companies.

They are involved in some of the most challenging and exciting aerospace projects in the world

The position of Aerospace Responsible Engineer is ideally suited to high calibre engineering graduates with significant and appropriate post graduate industry experience. You will be given the opportunity to support our aerospace projects in airframe structures and aero-engines.

You will be expected to take full ownership of technical tasks, and to lead others in their execution.
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate an appetite for challenge and to contribute to the success and growth of the business.

Candidates will ideally be degree qualified, and have experience of managing engineering projects to time, quality and cost objectives.
You will have experience of technically leading teams and taking technical responsibility on projects involving relevant disciplines such as:·
Static stress analysis.
Linear or non-linear Finite Element modelling and analysis.
Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis.
Engineering design
Composite materials design/stress analysis

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:·
Effective client management and communication skills
Project team leadership.
Technical aptitude in the appropriate discipline
Adaptability.
Innovative thinking.
Commercial awareness and financial management skills.

You will need to show a willingness to work outside normal office hours on occasions and flexibility for working from the office, home, and clients' premises.

Prior aerospace industry experience is desirable, but not mandatory. Experience of supply chain management would be beneficial.Chartership with one of the main Engineering Institutes
