The role involves technically managing project teams engaged in all aspects of Waste Water Networks modelling work. Modelling provides us with an in-depth understanding of sewerage performance and underpins our ability to provide cost effective and innovative solutions to flooding an pollution prevention projects You will be responsible for the technical standards of the team and will coach and mentor the team members to achieve their full potential.
The work of the team includes all aspects of investigative and survey work associated with Wastewater Networks, network model build, verification (quantity and quality), performance assessment, solution development and solution proving. Working with the Project Managers you will be responsible for day to day operation of the team on projects, ensuring that they are completed to budget, time and quality.
Qualifications and Experience.
The successful applicant will have a relevant degree and significant experience of Modelling Wastewater systems. The applicant should also be able to demonstrate leadership, management and training capability. An extensive knowledge of InfoWorks CS is essential and knowledge of other modelling packages would be useful. You should be able to learn new software quickly and also have good practical working knowledge of:

•Calibration/Verification of Wastewater Network Models
•Drainage Area Planning
•Operation of Wastewater Systems
•Hydraulics and Hydrology
•GIS
•Microsoft Office packages
