Our client is currently seeking a SHEQual Advisor (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor) based in High Wycombe.
Key responsibilities will include:
•Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the Company's SHEQual Policies and Systems in the businesses
•Tracking the speed and quality of any corrective actions that are raised during the monitoring activities.
•Stopping any work activities where the SHEQual Advisor identifies an imminent danger to people or the environment.
•Keeping up to date with current SHEQual legislation and industry best practice and disseminating this information to all levels of staff throughout the Business.
•Providing SHEQual advice to all levels of employees (e.g. SHEQual systems
•Maintaining an effective relationship with the local Health and Safety Executive, Environmental Agency Officers, other regulators and Clients Health and Safety Representatives within the business.
•Maintain and implement company SHEQual audit / inspection plan within the business.
Qualifications and Experience.
To be successful in this role you will need a background in Environmental Science. In addition you will need a NEBOSH qualification ideally diploma but we will consider a certificate.
