Our client is currently on the look for a Senior Investment Planning Analyst to strengthen the Management Consultancy division of their business. The ideal person is likely to come from the Water Sector because to undertake the role with success you will need to have a thorough understanding of the UK Water Sector. In particular, around infrastructure capital maintenance planning; including common framework approaches and risk based maintenance approaches.
It would also be highly beneficial if you understood the regulatory risks, investment process for CAPEX and OPEX Spend, efficiencies, out-performance and Key Performance Indicators (OPA). A previous track record illustrating Project Management skills would also be beneficial (particular emphasis here in the ability to extract and understand Client requirements to lead solution development, utilising a Client focused team and ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality parameters)
Our client is looking for someone who comes from a technical background with considerable technical experience, a sound understanding of infrastructure engineering; and some knowledge of predictive mathematical modelling techniques would be desirable. Accompanying this, they are looking for that individual who wants to develop and maintain excellent client relationship management relationships.
A relevant academic qualification is ideal but not a prerequisite. Your CV will however illustrate extensive experience of software packages such as MSAccess, MSExcel, SQL Server, and basic understanding of GIS or statistical modelling packages.
