An exciting opportunity has arisen within our client's Berkshire office for a talented individual with expertise in water engineering.
Work will include EA Framework projects as well as various development and flood risk projects, both for public and private sector clients and your key responsibilities will include:
• River engineering and asset inspection
• Flood protection schemes
• River and lake restoration
• Drainage design
• Day to day management of projects
• Mentoring less experienced members of the team
• QA control of projects
• Managing relationships with Clients
• Delivering concept and detailed design for projects
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering and preferably with or close to achieving I.Eng / C.Eng MICE status, you will have experience of managing design teams, experience of managing project budgets and good awareness of health and safety, environmental and sustainable practices within the industry.
Excellent communication and project management skills are also required enabling you to effectively lead a project team and liaise with clients as are broad technical skills to match the variety of project work and good financial and commercial awareness.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £32 - 37,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
