Our client is currently seeking a Natural and Built Environments Project Manager based in High Wycombe.
We are seeking an energetic and innovative individual who can project manage the design, winning and delivery of our solutions oriented service to our existing and new blue chip clients. The position is primarily in support of our UK clients but support to international projects is required from time to time.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the candidate will be able to promote and instill financial and production discipline in managing the company's commercial interest through the delivery of a project or group of projects to agreed scope, timescales and budget. They will excel in Client Relationship Management and Solution Management, delivering solutions with the right balance of Performance, Risk and Cost under the best commercial terms. They will demonstrate a combination of flair, inter-personal skills, disciplines and the ability to face up to hard decisions. Those who undertake it must be aware of the significant expectations and accountability placed on them.
Qualifications and Experience.
The successful candidate will have a strong background, approximately 7 years experience, and may have a Masters Degree or equivalent in a suitable discipline and an excellent understanding of project management techniques. Full membership of the Association for Project Management and completion of the Introductory Certificate is essential, with APMP qualification preferred. A UK driving licence is essential.
Suitable degree background includes; Contaminated Land, Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering, Geography and Town and Country Planning.
