Your Role
To assist in the completion of meter verification for Southern Water, in the Counties of Kent, Sussex Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
The meters are bulk process meters, measuring flows at abstraction points, reservoirs and across the distribution network. Maintaining meter accuracy assures confidence in Client Company reporting.
Undertake installation of Electromagnetic Probes, utilising flow profiling software;
Undertake where necessary data logging of probes and meters;
Undertake comparison of probe and meter flow data to confirm status of meter accuracy;
Undertake meter adjustments where required to attain calibration;
Undertake where necessary meter diagnostic checks using meter manufacturer bespoke hardware and software;
Collect and Record Field data and calibration results to enable completion of clients documentation;
To comply with all Client site procedures and all health & safety legislation.
Skills
Qualification in Electronics;
Driving licence essential;
Ability to deal with people at all levels
Should be physically fit, as work requires entry to confined spaces
Prepared to work in a flexible manner.
