Job Description
Atkins has been appointed to a number of strategic water resources frameworks in south and central England and we are seeking to expand our hydrogeology team in this area. The job will involve working with our hydrogeologists in Epsom and Oxford. We have a secure forward work load on a wide range of projects relating to resource optimisation and environmental assessment requiring field work, drilling, conceptualisation and groundwater modelling.

Requirements

First degree in geology or related subject
MSc or PhD in hydrogeology
Appropriate amount of experience as a Hydrogeologist, within consultancy, water company or regulatory fields
A clear understanding of recent developments in hydrogeology
A strong technical drive and good communication skills

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for liaising with clients and for all aspects of hydrogeological analysis. You will be expected to work in an integrated team of water resources and environmental specialists and will be responsible for working with the rest of the team in advancing our technical capability to the highest standard. The role of the Senior Hydrogeologist will include responsibility for the technical and financial management of projects, for business development and training our junior staff.
