As a Bridge Engineer, within the Rail division, you will work with a team of designers focusing on mainly bridges and some other structures. You will be working for a very large company dealing with many projects therefore you will be required to work efficiently in a multi-project and multi-disciplined environment.
This location for this role is Beckenham, anyone within a suitable distance will be considered.

Who are the likely candidates?
A likely candidate will have a strong academic background; a minimum of upper second honours degree is expected, and have achieved, or be able to show workable progression towards achieving chartered status. You will also need to have previous experience in the design of bridges. It is essential that you have previous experience in steel or concrete, and have knowledge and practical ability using UK standards and codes.

· Achieved Chartered Status (not essential – bridge experience is!)
· Strong academic background
· The ability to priorities workload
· UK based experience in Bridge design – including steel/concrete and UK standards and codes
· Railway Bridges experience
