Electrical / Multiskilled Maintenance Technician - East London
Salary and Location £31k. Roles based in East London.
Skilled maintenance engineers needed to join a market leading organisation in the manufacture and maintenance of railway vehicles. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated electrical / electro-mechanical engineers to take the first steps in a career in the rail sector.
Role Description Working on a rotating shift basis, you will be responsible for electrical and some mechanical maintenance of modern rolling stock utilised on some of the busiest routes in and out of London. Maintenance activities can be broken down into routine electrical and mechanical service checks to ensure train safety through to complex fault diagnosis and major overhaul. The electrical / multiskilled maintenance technician role is the route to supervisory and higher management roles within this organisation.
Required Experience With good electrical maintenance experience gained within a heavy engineering environment, you will be keen to transfer into a new sector where full product training will be given to develop industry competence. Qualified to ONC, NVQ III or apprentice trained (ideally in an electrical discipline although dual trained engineers will be considered), you will be a team player and flexible to work shifts as required.
