SOFTWARE ENGINEER / BUCKINGHAMSHIRE / £30K-£40K
* Excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer to work in a dynamic environment on challenging projects
* You will be responsible for the software infrastructure & grid computing environment in the UK & will ensure the productivity of Development Engineers
* The Key knowledge/skills required for this exciting position include:
- Proven ability to develop applications using scripting languages (e.g shell, perl, python)
- Exp working with Linux or Unix systems
- Proven ability in technical problem solving
- Exp in software or hardware development useful
- Exp working with Microsoft Windows systems beneficial
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Undertake infrastructure development projects as a member of the worldwide software infrastructure organisation
* Develop automation solutions for tasks common to UK multiple development groups
* Assist Software/Hardware Development Engineers in the use of UK software infrastructure & grid computing environment
* Administer UK infrastructure/grid computing environment including rolling out new infrastructure
* Ensure IT Department provides adequate computing resources for UK Development Engineers
* Ensure requirements of UK Development Engineers are met by the worldwide infrastructure organisation |
