Senior / Team Lead Java Developer - Fareham - Experienced Java and J2E developer to perform full SDLC with proven experience of managing projects and development teams required for expanding web based software systems architecture and development company.
Senior / Team Lead Java Developer is required for leading web based software systems architecture and development company based in Fareham, Hampshire. They are looking to strengthen their business and are therefore expanding the current team.
The role will be as a Senior Developer / Team Leader and you will be performing full software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, detailed design specifications, high quality software development and team leading and mentoring of junior development staff. You will be required to meet clients to discuss the solutions and will involve some travel to client sites.
You will be an experienced senior developer / team lead with indepth Java and J2E development experience with solid knowledge of the web environment and three tier client server design. You will have proven experience of managing projects and development teams with excellent client facing skills.You will be able to perform requirements analysis on-site with customers and then design complex high quality software solutions. You will be able to produce documentation for use in testing and produce detailed designs for junior developers to program.
Any candidates with experience of XML, Web Services, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Eclipse and .NET is desirable but not essential.
Location: Fareham commutable from Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester and Chichester or surrounding areas.
Salary: 25-45k + benefits depending on experience
