A position has arisen working for one of the UKs leading consultancies within their Intelligent Transport Division, part of the highways and transportation business.
The role includes the design, development , implementation and continuing maintenance of travel information software, specifically public transport journey planning and road routing applications. This sector is a rapidly expanding part of the business with excellent growth and promotion opportunities.
You will be working with software analysis and design or system implementation and have working knowledge of Java.
Ideally you will be working within the transport software industry or as a minimum engineering and be using MS SQL and XML. You will be confident and professional, show examples of creativity, good communication skills and a desire to manage other team members.
