Company Details: Leading Military / Defence Systems Communications design and Integration House are looking for candidates within the following area. Project & Senior Project Co-Coordinators. The principle purpose of the role is to co-ordinate and support all aspects of assigned projects to ensure schedule and budget adherence and be the point of contact for assigned work streams.
Purpose of Position Responsible for producing resourced, time phased schedules to ensure that all tasks are completed on target. The schedules must have an appropriate level of task detail and logic to provide adequate critical path analysis, headcount and cost flow forecasting. A Senior Co-coordinator must ensure the project schedule is maintained and reviewed with the team on a regular basis. The Senior Co-coordinator will receive updated estimates and other inputs from the budget holders to enable ETCs to be submitted, usually on a monthly basis, and should provide a level of challenge to this data. Dependent upon the size of the programme there maybe a responsibility for one or more less experienced co-coordinators Provide updated schedules and ETCs to the Programme Manager as required highlighting variances from previous updates. Ensure all deliveries and billing milestones are met and that forecasts are up to date.
Responsibilities Coordination Act as an interface between all functions/team members and resolve problems to ensure project requirements are met. Hold/attend regular team meetings to communicate with the team on status and resolve problems Report the status of the project regularly with the Programme Manager. Monitor completion of all project tasks to ensure work is completed to schedule. Monitor costs against task/departmental estimates and resolve discrepancies with the budget owner. Project Risk Management Ensure risk reviews are undertaken regularly and that the risk register is maintained. Mitigation actions are to be included in plans and therefore form part of the Performance Management Baseline (PMB
Bid Activity Plan and coordinate all aspects of a bid from the kick-off to the delivery. Produce a schedule for the bid which includes the resource required to execute the bid. Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) will also play a part in the Project Co-coordinators Tasks.
