SENIOR DSP ENGINEER / HAMPSHIRE / c£40K
* Our client seeks an experienced DSP Software Engineer for a varied & challenging role involving the signal processing parts of reference design firmware
* Reporting to the DSP & Drivers Team Leader, you will develop code in C & assembler, for baseband processing of radio communications protocols (Tetra Layer 1)
* Also analyse & resolve problems in a real time embedded environment
* We are keen to receive applications from DSP Engineers with relevant commercial experience & ideally a strong background in digital signal processing or design of efficient & robust low level, real-time, software
Other key talents include:
- Significant experience in C programming
- Real time C embedded environment
- Hardware driver exp
- Air interface experience (GSM, WCDMA)
- Handset exp (low power, limited memory)
- DSP platforms
- RTOS (such as OSE or DSP/BIOS)
- Code Composer
- Matlab
- Version control system (e.g SVN)
The role will include:
* Real time programming for small memory & low power platforms
* Support existing products
* Propose & drive software improvements
* Initiate/participate in team design reviews as appropriate
* Provide content for product & design documentation
* Provide timely status reports on projects to the Development Manager |
