Information Assurance Manager / Infosec Consultant
Location of vacancy To be based in Uxbridge
UK MoD SC Clearance Required - British Nationals Only
To work as part of a small team based on site to deliver contractually agreed security tasks and deliverables into the Trusted Borders consortium .
The job role requires that the individual manages the technical delivery of a team on a client site, which is scaled for six staff but is currently eight due to a peak in demand. Additionally, the management of ad-hoc resources as required for specific tasks, e.g. penetration testing teams as required. Other resources will be based off-site and appropriate liaison will be necessary to bring them in as required to ensure the contract deliverables are met.
Knowledge, skills and personal qualities required
•Excellent interpersonal and people management skills with the ability to interact with the other partners in the consortium. •Confident Technical Leader capable of driving a technical team to deliver outstanding client impact direct into customer teams •Sound business skills to ensure our client both retains and increases its workshare through spotting and exploiting opportunities within the consortium . •Good oral and written communication skills, including sound report writing and presentation skills •Knowledge of HMG security policy •Previous experience as an Infosec consultant

Challenges
•Effectively delivering all our clients security team tasks into the consortium •Managing the Prime contractors expectation and over-achieving against it •Delivering a variety of security tasks from accreditation documents, policies, compliance reports, SyOPs, audit reports as well as providing a level of ad-hoc support from the security team to meet the consortiums security advice requirements •Supporting the document review processes set up by the prime contractor with appropriate security staff skilled in the various areas the deliverables address •In conjunction with the programme and security team project manager, ensure service targets and deliverables are met on time, within an agreed budget and with the appropriate internal and external QA processes followed •Managing a demanding personal workload to best effect, prioritising and delegating within the team as both necessary and appropriate •Development and training of the recruited team
