Skills Required Min HNC in a technicakl discipline (degree in any engineering discipline preferred) Higher level in statistical or business analysis related subjects
Knowledge of a BI system and current BI products - Knowledge of Cognos, SQL, statistical, modelling and forecasting products
Able to demonstrate proven analytical BI skills within a business environment.
Experience with building business reports through databases and spreadsheets.
Demonstrate strong prioritization, communication and teamworking skills. As well as being innovative with an analytical mind and innovative focus.
Job description Our client is seeking to recruit information analysts that have proven analytical skills and experience with business intelligence (BI) software (e.g. Cognos), along with experience of developing business reports using databases and spreadsheets. The successful candidates will be able demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills, along with a pragmatic approach to problem solving, and the creative ability to champion future enhancements.
This challenge offers candidates the opportunity to support the business units through the implementation life cycle, advising and coaching in areas such as data quality and performance measurement best practice.
The two successful candidates will be joining the team at a very exciting point in the development of their toolset, which is an international data warehouse with common reporting for all managers across our business, and they currently hold information for; Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, France, UK, Ireland and Australia with plans to expand into other business units over the next five years. The Data warehouse contains the following modules; Supply Chain, CRM, Sales, Productivity, Customer Support, Debt & HR.
As such there is a wealth of opportunities for new members of the team to really impact the business objectives going forward.
These roles are offered on a permanent basis and will be based at their offices in Heathrow. Some travel to other business units both within the UK and abroad may be required during the implementation period.
