A dedicated and enthusiastic Transport Planner is required by our client to join their team.
You will be expected to lead the work on individual tasks and various projects and supervise the work of others, as appropriate.
You will be degree qualified or equivalent in a transport related discipline and will be actively working towards Chartered Status.
With previous experience in a transport planning consultancy or local authority, you will be knowledgeable on development planning techniques (including the use of software for junction appraisal such as ARCADY and PICADY) OR transport policy development.
Good general IT skills are required including competency using transport planning software such as SATURN, TRIPS and TRANSYT.
You will be a team player who has the ability to work on your own initiative when required.
The post may involve travelling to site and occasionally abroad, therefore a full driving licence is required.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £24 - 30,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
