Our client's Kent office requires a Traffic Systems Engineer to work on design, configuration and supervision of installation and commissioning of traffic systems
You will have a formal qualification in Civil, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, have practical experience in the field of traffic control systems and have a good working knowledge of LINSIG, TRANSYT, TR2210 / TR2500 specification and geometric design.
You will also need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of the latest traffic systems technology and capabilities.
Experience of MOVA or UTC / UTMC systems would be useful, although not essential.
A flexible attitude to meet the needs of clients across the whole range of traffic control functions is essential as is excellent mentoring skills, to enable you to assist in the training and supervision of less experienced technicians.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £28 - 36,000 p.a., together with a flexible benefits package.
