Our client's office in Kent needs a Traffic Systems Technician to contribute to the design, specification and procurement of Intelligent Transport Systems for their wide range of clients, which will then proceed to installation, acceptance testing and commissioning of the system.
Responsible to the Project Manager for assigned elements of the schemes, your duties will also include preparation of layout drawings, carrying out capacity calculations and the preparation of TR2210 specifications.
You must have experience in the preparation of AutoCAD drawings and knowledge of Traffic Control Systems whilst knowledge of the principles of their operation would be an advantage.
You will be an excellent communicator who is able to communicate well with team members and external clients and who has a methodical approach to their work.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the region of £20 - 26,000 p.a., together with additional benefits.
