Our Client is a major player in street lighting PFI's and are specialists in external lighting and highways infrastructure installations. As Contracts Manager you will be responsible ensuring that resources are adequately allocated and effectively utilised, Company and Contract procedures are adhered to correctly and that regular constructive communication takes place with the customer, employees and other relevant parties (including sub-contractors). Your main role will be to: - Ensure the safety of all members of staff and others that maybe effected by the work/actions being carried out. - Ensure all work is carried out to contract specifications on material, workmanship, time scales and cost. - To provide project planning charts to show progress and completion within the set time scales. - Maintain adequate staff, equipment, vehicles and stock to fulfil requirements of the contract and deliver productivity targets. - To ensure procurement of all contract materials. - To keep WIP to a minimum, ensuring invoices are raised and sent to clients in accordance with contract conditions and company procedures to improve cash flow. - To deal with customer complaints.
