Our client's Surrey office requires an experienced Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner to support an Associate Director and his team in the day to day management of projects and the production of Transport Assessment and Travel Plan documents to support planning application submissions.
You will be appropriately qualified and will have previous experience of working within the Transport Planning industry on development led projects for a consultant or as a development control engineer for a Highway Authority. Some experience in the use of junction capacity software, such as ARCADY, PICADY and TRANSYT would be beneficial, as would experience in LINSIG.
This position demands a proactive approach in a team environment and offers substantial opportunity for career progression within the company.
You will be fully supported in your role and will be encouraged to expand your experience with regard to transport and its relationship to land use planning.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £26 - 35,000 p.a., together with additional benefits.
