A Senior Transport Modeller is required by our client in Hampshire to add value to the delivery of their current portfolio of work and assist in the growth of their national and international business.
A key member of the modelling team, you will be highly integrated with a range of planning and modelling projects and will assist in these project deliveries and directions.
Responsibilities of the role will include the following:
• Acting as project manager, providing technical inputs to the various client groups as well as coordinating modelling advice
• Expanding internal markets within the Group include transport inputs to stadia, hospitals and business park developments.
• Managing and implementing project modelling and CAD standards.
• Liaising with relevant leaders and management of resources and staff involved in resourcing requirements and production.
• Resource management and business development that will work closely with the existing modelling teams.
• Consultation with wide ranging client groups and possibly including extensive public consultation.
• Check sample output for compliance with QA requirements and industry best practice.
You will have a degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline, will preferably be an associate member or technical member of a professional institution such as ICE or IStructE and will have substantial experience in transport modelling.
You will also have the ability to manage numerous details at the same time and make connections between multiple factors.
Experience in ArchiCAD; Autodesk ADT; 3D Studio Max AND / OR Maya would be beneficial but is in no way essential.
You will be a good communicator with good interpersonal skills, excellent commercial and financial management awareness, will be committed to providing high quality solutions and advice to clients and will have first class report writing, project management, supervisory and technical ability.
Our client will offer an attractive salary, probably in the range of £32 - 36,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
