Our client is involved in the innovative application of leading edge modelling methods on a wide range of transport policy and scheme work appraisals across all modes of transport including rail, aviation, freight and public transport.
Their Berkshire team requires a high calibre Transport Modeller at Senior level to join them and work on projects, which include viability of congestion charging and development / implementation impact assessments.
Your workload will include working on multi-modal transport models, model development and construction, providing technical assistance to non-modelling teams, training and managing other team members and preparing proposals for clients.
Preferably degree qualified or equivalent, you will have good multi modal transport model experience together with a working knowledge of transport modelling packages (e.g. SATURN, TRIPS, etc).
You will be highly analytical with excellent report writing skills, will possess good communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels, will be able to work using your initiative and will have a desire to succeed and fulfil a rewarding and challenging career.
Our client will offer an attractive salary, probably in the range of £33 - 37,000 p.a., together with a good range of benefits.
