Our client's Essex office is seeking to appoint a Transport Planner at either Senior or Principal level to take responsibility for delivering transport planning projects to programme and on budget.
The division provides services in support of a wide range of client needs covering all modes of transport to ensure sustainable, efficient and cost effective solutions.
Acting as project manager on allocated commissions, you will also be expected to lead teams, mentoring and providing technical support to less experienced members and to provide key client focus for relevant client managers.
You should be degree qualified or equivalent, have some good experience in a similar role and possess a broad based technical competence.
The ability to lead teams of support professionals is essential as is the ability to actively manage projects to a successful conclusion within time and budget targets and the ability to work on your own initiative.
You should also possess excellent communication skills and be particularly responsive to client needs.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £32 - 44,000 p.a., together with an attractive benefits package.
