We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technician to join our team of friendly professionals in our Highways section on the development projects.
The opportunity
You will be working in a team of friendly professionals on projects for Local Authorities, which are generally covered by Section 38 and 278 Agreements. The purpose of the role is to undertake and support the preparation of various aspects of highway design as part of development projects.
The position will provide the opportunity for career development and to gain excellent experience within a dynamic and challenging environment.
Who we are looking for
Incorporated Engineers or HND/HNC qualified candidates with appropriate experience, alternatively you may have OND/ONC with significant experience in highways design. You must be able to use MX and/or Windes/Microdrainage and Autocad.
You will have been employed in a design office and worked on highway design for development for development projects preferably through approval and detailed design stages.
The successful candidate will be familiar in the application of Local Authority guidelines and Highway Agency's DMRB and MCDHW document to development projects.
You will also have a proven ability to supervise other technicians and communicate with colleagues at all levels and other parties. A flexible attitude and a keen interest in working in a multi-disciplinary environment with frequently changing deadlines are essential. |
