If you are able to provide wide-ranging traffic / transportation expertise to multi-disciplinary projects within our client's Hampshire office, we would like to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide further strengthening to their existing core Traffic / Transportation Team to win and undertake work (for all disciplines).
You will be expected to act as an independent advisor to public and private clients, providing in-depth analyses and forecasting for urban and rural development.
Other responsibilities will include managing and developing projects and teams, developing and winning new business in the traffic / transportation field, developing and helping to manage the traffic / transportation team and managing / delivering the technical, financial and management requirements of projects.
You will have a good first degree or equivalent in a numerical subject such as Maths, Operational Research, Geography, Economics or Engineering, whilst a postgraduate qualification in traffic / transportation is desirable, but by no means essential.
You will also have significant experience in two or more of the following areas:
• Multi-modal modelling and feasibility studies using EMME2, SATURN, VISUM, TRIPS/Cube Voyager or OMNITRANS • Pedestrian simulation modelling using LEGION, PEDROUTE or PAXPORT • Transport and junction assessments including ARCADY, PICADY, OSCADY, LINSIG or TRANSYT • Micro-simulation using VISSIM or PARAMICS • Transport Assessment studies in support of major developments • Economic and financial appraisals, Business Case development • Transport master planning • Toll roads, DBFO & PFI
You will be a confident leader who is able to adapt within a team orientated, fast moving environment.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £38 - 45,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
