Our client's Berkshire office has an outstanding opportunity for a Passenger Transport Planner to join their team and provide consultancy advice to local authorities and to a lesser extent, bus operators.
There may also be opportunities to take on some project management responsibility, for which training will be given.
You will be appropriately qualified and will be able to demonstrate experience in a passenger transport field, ideally with experience in public transport operations or planning. Your experience / knowledge will cover SOME of the following areas:
• Bus service operation and planning
• Rail operation
• Taxi provision
• Community transport
• Home to school transport
• Bus service infrastructure
• Bus service marketing.
You should also have an understanding of key areas of passenger transport work and will be capable of working alone and as part of a team in progressing projects forward towards their final output.
Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £26 - 34,000 p.a., together with a flexible benefits package.
