To support their future growth and to maintain their active and growing department, our Surrey based client requires a self-motivated engineering graduate to work on a wide variety of technology projects in the transport sector.
Working under the close supervision of more experienced Engineers, your main duties will include:
• Solving problems using standard techniques
• Preparing design calculations
• Overseeing the preparation of drawings by drafts people
• Contributing towards the production of relevant contract documents and specifications
• Producing bills of quantity (if applicable)
• Producing detailed technical reports
• Fully comply with quality, safety and environmental management systems
You will have a related degree, HNC or equivalent and will have experience in the use of various relevant software packages.
If you are working towards attaining Category 4 project management attributes, are in the process of applying for membership of a relevant professional body and / or have previous consultancy experience, you will be at an advantage.
You will be adaptable and self motivated with the ability to work as part of a team, will have a flexible approach to problem solving and will have excellent written English skills.
Our client will offer an attractive salary, probably in the range of £21 - 23,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
