Our client in Kent requires a CAD Technician to undertake CAD design and provide support to Senior Engineers progressing infrastructure design.
You will also be expected to manage drawing register and issue sheets, co-ordinate drawing approvals for QMS and interface with local highways authorities on design issues.
You will be qualified to a minimum level of HNC or equivalent and will be fully conversant with the latest versions of AutoCAD, having infrastructure, primarily highways, related CAD design experience on S38 / S278 type schemes.
Knowledge of AutoTRACK and AutoSIGN is essential as is the ability to resolve highway related design issues and advising senior staff of implications.
You will have excellent communication skills and will want to develop your skills and knowledge to enable you to pursue a rewarding career with our client.
Our client will offer a generous salary, probably in the range of £18 - 25,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
