Our client's Berkshire office is seeking to recruit a new Transport Associate to support the growth of their Transport project work.
Work will include mixed and varied land development projects as well as town and City centre masterplanning and urban regeneration projects. The type of work extends from regionally significant shopping centres to major housing and mixed use developments as well as developing 20 year strategies to support investment in City and Towns in the future.
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Supporting the Cost Centre Manager in managing the transport team, projects and clients
• Providing a comprehensive Transport Planning Service to clients, including Transport Assessments Reports, Travel Plan Reports, Traffic Management, Junction Investigations / Modelling and Design.
• Attending client meetings
• Masterplanning support in terms of providing Transport and Traffic Management advice as necessary
• Assisting the Cost Centre Manager in developing fee proposals and marketing activities
• Working alongside other disciplines when required
You will be appropriately qualified, e.g., HNC or B.Sc in a relevant field and will have I.Eng status or membership of CILT.
A good knowledge of current design standards and legislation is essential as is solid experience in the fields of transport planning and traffic management and the ability to write and present reports and to manage budgets effectively.
You will be highly motivated with excellent people management skills and will have a desire for yourself and your team members to progress.
Our client will offer an attractive salary, probably in the range of £40 - 48,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
