Thamesteel Limited is situated within the Garrison Town of Sheerness in Kent adjacent to the surrounding Sheerness Naval Dockyard. With access to Thamesteel via the M20/M25 and the new Sheppey Crossing has enabled swift access to Sheerness. Sheerness is 55 miles from central london.
Thamesteel formerly the Sheerness Steel Company who were aquired in 2003 by the Al-Tuwairqi Group of Saudi Arabia. The Al-Tuwairqi Group has recently invested in excess of forty five million pounds into the Thamsteel plant and continues to drive financial investment with the ongoing rejuvenatiation of our manufacturing capability in the tradition of supplying quality steels from the site.

The ideal candidate for this position must be a graduate electrical engineer with at least 10 years proven managerial experience and should be a department head of electrical division in a steel plant will full operational knowledge of electric arc furnace, ladle furnace, caster and rolling mills.
Knowledge of PLC and HV will be an added advantage
You will be responsible for the effective management of engineering resources, with a clear accountability for delivering acceptable levels of availability for the plant.
