Service Engineer (Worldwide) / Field Service Engineer (Power Electronics)

The successful Worldwide Field Service Engineer will have a proven background within power electronics (thyristors etc) and associated controls (PLC's, SCADA, HMI etc) along with a committed approach and good client facing skills. You will be installing, commissioning, repairing and maintaining large capital plant consisting of cooling systems, materials handling systems and power electronics used to weld and heat metals to very high temperatures. This will involve component level electronics repair, three phase electrical fault finding and mechanical skills (pumps, hydraulics etc)
The Field Service Engineer will be required to travel worldwide, sometimes at very short notice and so a flexible approach to the role is required. When not travelling, you will be required to carryout testing and technical support duties at the head office.
