Our Client
Our client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in project management, development & construction, technical & commercial advice, health & safety and environmental management.
With the growth of the Project Delivery area of the business our client are looking to appoint additional Project Engineers to the team.
They are also looking to recruit Project Engineers with specifically Cables / Electrical experience to work preferably from their Romsey Office.
The Role
As Project Engineer, you will be based within a reasonable commute of Bath, Romsey or Caerphilly. Or be prepared to relocate to these areas.
You will be working with a variety of clients on a variety of projects including onshore and offshore wind farms and construction. You will be answerable to a Senior Project Manager and work as part of the Project Delivery team.
The Individual
The Project Engineer will be qualified to HNC / HND level minimum. Chartered status (MICE, MCIOB etc) would be advantageous. Also experience of a variety of projects would be desirable. These can include construction, telecommunications, electrical, mechanical and heavy civils. Having worked with Wind Turbines or similar would be a distinct advantage.
You will need to be personable, flexible and comfortable working as part of a close knit team. The character fit is extremely important as the team dynamic should be added to not compromised.
Two years experience as a Project Engineer is essential. Knowledge of renewable energy can be taught but the right person will be a qualified Engineer with a solid background in Project Engineering.
Our client are looking to double the size of the Project Delivery team over the next year so there are very real and clear opportunities to progress.
