Service Sales Engineer based in Basingstoke

Responsibilities
Responsible for developing multiple long term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration in terms of sales and profit and customer retention primarily with building owners Responsible for proactive visit and support of assigned customer accounts Work to current and evolving action plan to identify and meet all customer’s HVAC requirements Develops multiple relationships with key associates in the customers operations, facilities/maintenance, engineering, construction, purchase and financial groups Develops and executes an account specific business plan to identify long term mutual support needs required to facilitate a strong profitable mutually beneficial partnership Develops and publishes a customer profile describing the key components of the company’s relationship with the customer Provides account business reports- monthly / annually complete with sales / profit forecasts and monthly account calling plan Consistently ascertains customer needs & market opportunities Assemblies and co-ordinates project team as needed for customer support and specific projects Provides knowledge and consultation in the form of developing HVAC system related solutions for customer problems, including financial, environmental and performance based considerations

Educational requirements
Ideally a Bachelors Degree or Technical Degree or Business Degree or Equivalent Experience some experience of or in building construction / HVAC industry including knowledge of products and services some experience of direct sales, serving building owners or facilities management companies some experience of indirect sales, serving consultants or contractors Some experience as an HVAC service technician with some sales experience
