Site Facilities Manager
Our Client has over 30 years of experience in the design of building services and understands all the factors that affect the design process and we consider the building environment from feasibility, through design and construction to completion.
Our clients teams consists of mechanical, electrical and public health design engineers who have vast experience with a mix of old wisdom and new ideas, coupled with their hands-on management style to produce a functional, innovative solution that is implemented smoothly and effectively.
Our client is looking for Facilities Manager to work for their biggest client on a 250 sq ft location, have experience with installation/maintenance of building services equipment.
You will be directly responsible for the provision of facilities services, ensuring that the highest standards of management and maintenance of the properties and servicing to the occupiers are provided (having regard to expenditure considerations.) The Site Facilities Manager should consider the occupiers to be “clients” as well as the owner investor and is expected to understand the business objectives of the investment.
the role
Hard services experience is essential - includes such things as ensuring that a building's air conditioning is operating efficiently, reliably, safely and legally.
Management experience – being able to successfully manage a team (technical as well as soft services)
Sub contractor Management expertise and staff management skills and environmental awareness is also important.
Be adept at handling difficult clients (people from banks/Law firm experience would be ideal) - strong interpersonal skills
mentor junior members of the team and be responsible for their continuing development
Practical understanding of commercial property management (with FM experience in the management of multi-let properties for Corporate Occupiers),
A team player with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills who interacts effectively with colleagues and clients,
