Our client, is a renowned integrated engineering and environmental consultancy. They are currently seeking to recruit Senior Environmental Consultants to join their highly motivated teams at varying locations around the UK. You will have a minimum of 8 YEARS of geotechnical work experience and hold an effective track record of managing the practical, technical and financial aspects of the developments of proposals, Phase I (Desk study) and Phase II (Factual and Interpretative reports.)
Ideally, you will hold a Bachelor degree in Geology or Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering. You should possess a practical understanding and effective working knowledge of the theory, current codes and other standards for the geotechnical design of foundations, retaining structures, slopes, earthworks and pavements. This is a responsible role as you will be held accountable for all management, financial and technical input as regards the geotechnical aspects of Phase I and II. The ideal candidate will be capable of working with minimum supervision, managing, training and developing junior team members, independently producing clear and concise technical reports and interacting effectively with clients, contractors and other disciplines.
