My client provides independent advice in all sectors of planning for the development industry.
They require a Senior Consultant to provide the necessary expertise in the area of sustainable buildings for existing clients and to market and develop this specialist area for our client.
Role Requirements
Experience in sustainability / environmental consultancy.
Good knowledge of BREEAM Assessments, preferably be a Registered BREEAM Assessor for BREEAM for Offices and EcoHomes.
Knowledge of BREEAM for Retail and BREEAM for Industrial is desirable.
Qualifications in Sustainable Design or Environmental Science or any other relevant disciplines would be highly relevant, to at least degree level.
Knowledge of the Town and Country Planning Act and how sustainability fits within this is also desirable.
Duties include
The main focus of the work is helping developers demonstrate how they have meet current sustainability polices through the production of Sustainability Statements and/or undertaking Sustainability Appraisals and BREEAM Assessments.
Liaising directly with local authorities
Organise and attend meetings with clients / design teams.
