Our client is a leading international consultancy providing a wide range of integrated engineering, management, planning and environmental services in the built and natural environments. They are a totally independent group, owned entirely by the working directors and senior staff, and operating in over 50 countries around the world; in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and USA.
Their 2500 staff members undertake a wide range of tasks from infrastructure, investment, planning and feasibility studies to full design and management of multi-disciplinary projects.

They are expanding their team in their London Office by recruiting a Flood Risk Consultant who will work as part of a team, preparing flood risk documents, hydrological estimations, hydrologic & Hydraulic modeling, report writing, flood risk mapping for a variety of development projects and planning documents throughout the south.

This role will include coordinating inputs and resources for FRA, liaising with clients and regulators; and budget control.

To be considered for this role, you will be required to have a working knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics (including hydraulic modelling software such as HEC-RAS), knowledge of the Flood Estimation Handbook (FEH) and other standard flow estimation techniques.
