Our client is currently seeking an Environmental Scientist with Due Diligence experience, based in High Wycombe.
You will be responsible for:
Organising and cataloguing project reports, you will review & file site investigation reports and check them against the UK environmental legislative requirements, project manage on-going projects and liaise with and if necessary, issue variations to contracts.
Projects that you will be involved in include:
•Due diligence Phase I & Phase II activities.
•Due diligence transaction investigation.
•EMS & Environmental & Site Investigation Report Review.
•Practical field Environmental Assessment e.g. groundwater monitoring, in situ site investigation, gas monitoring.
•Keeping up-to-date with UK environmental legislation, particularly on contaminated land.
Qualifications and Experience.
The suitable individual will be:
•Team player but has ability to work alone and independently with minimum supervision.
•Ability to grow his/her range of capabilities and knowledge with full support and encouragement from the Company.
•Ability to support a team in a project.
•Ability to analyse and understand complex site monitoring data
•Need a strong sense of humour.
Experience required:
Minimum 5 years experience in
•Due diligence Phase I & Phase II activities.
•Due diligence transaction investigation.
•EMS & Environmental & Site Investigation Report Review
Qualifications required:
•Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science or Technology Any other additional formal training will be a bonus
•Good IT Skills in Microsoft office
